The Instructional Council approved a proposal to replace Heritage Spanish 5-6 with Heritage Spanish 5-6 Honors. This aligns the Heritage Spanish with the traditional Spanish Honors course.
The Instructional Council approved a proposal for VPAA and BEACON Resources. These are resources needed to keep the programs current with work-place standards.
The Instructional Council tabled a proposal for Standard Text Resources for Dual Language Ignite, grades 4 and 5 until we receive further information. These are resources that all DL Ignite, grade 4 class rooms would need to start up. Currently this is only at one school but it will expand as the program grows.
The Instructional Council heard revised proposals for the following Social Studies Elective Courses: International Relations, World History, Psychology and Sociology. We will vote on these proposals at our January meeting.
