IEA RA 2026 Election
On December 9, elections will be held to amend the ETA Bylaws and to choose the delegates who will represent our Region 24 and Elgin Teachers Association during the IEA Rep Assembly in March 2026 at Rosemont, IL.
All ETA members will have the opportunity to vote at their schools or workplaces (Welcome Center, ESC). The polls will close at 5 p.m. Remember to bring your ballot box to the new IEA/ETA offices located at 1707 N. Randall Rd., Suite 155 Elgin, IL 60123.
Voting Instructions: Boxes 1 and 2 are reserved for voting on the language related to the Ethnic Minority Director Bylaw. If you wish to vote to amend the language, you must choose number 1 (Yes), and if you do not wish to amend it, choose number 2 (No).
Boxes 3 through 30 are reserved for voting for all candidates to represent Region 24 at the 2026 IEA RA in Rosemont, IL. Remember that you can vote for up to 27 delegates. If you wish to add a candidate not listed on the ballot (Write-In), you must use boxes 31 and beyond. Circle the number and write the full name of the person you are nominating on the ballot.

You will also find an example of the Delegate Candidates for the 2026 IEA Rep Assembly, including their statements.
