Those Who Excel (TWE – pronounced Twee!) has been an important part of the ETA for many years. All the work and events are done by volunteers of the organization in order to support our profession.
Scholarship Bowl/TWE Update
RA Raffle prizes April 18
We will update the list of prizes as they continue to pour into the ETA office. Buy your tickets NOW!
Scholarship Bowl is on April 25. We will have 3 pm, 4 pm., & 5 pm bowling times. AS you get you teams together, email Mary Leson at maryleson@u-46.org. She is keeping track of all the teams. Be sure to designate a Team CAPTAIN. This is the person who will receive a confirmation email once your time has been recorded. Each team will be asked to pay a $10 registration fee to cover the cost of bowling. You can send this to Mary at Heritage or just pay when your captain checks in the day of Scholarship Bowl.
Baskets!
We are asking each site to put together a themed basket. Once your site has a theme please email Lori Rogengarten at lorirosengarten@u-46.org. She is keeping track of all basket themes. I’ll be sending out updates. All baskets need to get to the ETA Office BEFORE Scholarship Bowl. IF you need help getting the basket to the ETA Office, contact me at maryellynfriel@u-46.org.
Special Raffle! We have an autographed Chicago Black Hawks hockey stick. In you folder, you’ll see special raffle tickets. Each ticket is $5 and this item will be the last pull of Scholarship Bowl. Turn in these tickets when you bring all raffle tickets.
The Recognition Night will be on TUESDAY May 29th.
March 19: HS Counselors receive scholarship application information. Remember: students apply on-line now; no more paper apps
April 10: Letters will go out to MS head reps & elementary 6th grade teachers about the on-line Survey Monkey recognition application
May 4: 6th & 8th grade Survey Monkey applications must be complete; HS scholarship applications must be submitted
May 29: TWE: Larkin HS, 7 pm
